Support of the parental role during the treatment for alcohol addiction

The bachelor thesis deals with the support of the parental role during the treatment of alcohol addiction. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the definition of alcohol dependence and its impact on the family environment, which thus faces the threat. The last part deals mainly with family therapy and the STI method, as possible forms of support that could be applied in practice. The practical part then points out the form of qualitative research through semi-structured interviews with health and social workers on the real application of theory in practice, in the context of the support offered to parents - alcoholics during treatment and aftercare. The aim of the work is to find out what is the state of support of parental role during the treatment of alcohol dependence in the Czech Republic.
